Corporal punishment

Long time ago, when my grandmother was a child, she told me that my great-grandmother punished to hard her. For example, one of most popular was to put her hands under the hot disc of the stove. Other example that she told me was that in the school, when someone didn’t paying attention or was sleeping the teacher throw to student in the head.

Nowadays, the situation is very different. We have a lot of laws that to protect at the students for any kind of aggression or aggressive punishment. The schools and high schools have different programs for teach at the students to be better. Psychologist is one of the tools that the fathers and students can to find.

I think that we need to teach our kids with patient and tolerance. But in which


 case is necessary to shake off the dust of their buttocks, we need to do. Obviously, with measure. Don’t abuse of your power.

Dear Dr. Heart,

My name is “a friend”, I am 19 years old. And I have a big problem with my boyfriend… he wants to have sex ALWAYS and sometimes I don’t feel good with this. I like him so much. An Inconvenient Truth (The Movie)

                      

Excellent movie…!!! When you start to see the movie, you can’t imagine all the content of this documentary. Actually when you finished it, your mind begins to think about the naked truth.

It’s totally impressive watch in pictures, the world fifty years ago, and watch the ice in the mountain peaks, and nowadays only we can see little pieces of the peaks coated with snow. It’s too hard and amazing how much pollution is on the air, produced by factories.

On the other hand global warming around the world has an impact in the species of fauna. For example currently the polar bears in North America. They have big problems with the foot and space where they live.

I think all the people need to watch this movie. Probably a big percent of them don’t pay attention or ignore the situation. But the difference begins with you and me. To take conscious about the situation and try to transmit the message that Al Gore start and so contribute with the earth.

Difficult decision of my life

When I was finishing my primary school, I decided to apply for different high schools. I was in “Escuela Los Angeles” near the Sabana Park. In this school I had the opportunity to continue in the institution; but I analyzed other options that could be more beneficial for my future. For example I applied in tree excellent high schools, whose names are: “Colegio Tecnico Don Bosco”, “Colegio Monterrey” and “Colegio Los Angeles”

To take this decision, was very very complicated, because in all of them I was going to get some specific skills. If I had studied in “Colegio Monterrey” I’m totally sure that in this moment I would be talking and writing excellent English. On other hand, if I had take, “Colegio Los Angeles” I could have been with the same friends of the school. Finally I decided to go to “Colegio Tecnico Don Bosco” to obtain a title in technical architectural drawing

Another love internet story

One day in the mountains from a distant place, one girl was checking her e-mail when suddenly she saw on the web a particular page. This page was a speed date…Then, minutes later she was searching something or someone different and found a nice picture of an elf but with a very very funny face. Yes, it was a man. Obviously was a normal boy but took a picture of an elf and put his face in the original photo of elf body. Like a photomontage.

Meanwhile, in another place of the world, in the city. One very very handsome man, whose name was Natham, and his last name El Guapo, was looking all of new girls recently included in his facebook, when suddenly, made click in link that he had never seen seeing. Fortunately, he saw a beautiful and wonderful girl in a picture and he automatically added then to his friends on facebook.

The girl, whose name was Dianne, when Natham added her like a friend in facebook, she looked very surprised. But immediately, she wrote in the wall these words: “Hi, hello…” Luckily, at that time Nathan was checking his mail… when he received a mail from Dianne with these words. And he said, she was a wonderful and different girl that he had never met.

Months later they met, shared different histories in their lives and fortunately they got married five years later and they lived happily ever after.

The impact of tourism on the environment in Costa Rica

I’m going to write about a specific place named is “Peninsula de Papagayo”. This place is in Guanacaste, just 30 minutes from the Costa Rica's Liberia International Airport. There is a wonderful mix behind nature and luxury constructions. At the beginning of the peninsula you can see a big entrance with different kind of plants and good security station. Then you drive under a paving stone around the peninsula of Papagayo. In the road you have the opportunity to enjoy cool ocean views, luxury houses and amazing hotels.

Why, I started to write about all wonders of Peninsula Papagayo. Ok, the answer is simple. Because is an ecological city. Is true that peninsula has big hotels and luxury mansions but all of these constructions were built with a regulatory plan to preserve this treasure. It’s incredible but the person who wants to build something, needs to make many different paper-works to comply with environmental laws set.

Currently, the majority of constructions and hotels are in foreign hands and it’s hard but they are more careful than Costa Rican people. Obviously the population who attends the hotels are Costa Ricans and they transmit to tourists the importance of preserving our flora, fauna and landscapes.

English Skills on Class

Nowadays, we have many different tools to learn English for example: you can

find English programs only conversational or conversational and grammar.

Another technique is to go to USA or another country where they speak in

English.

I think the professor has an important role in classes in my opinion the

 professor must be very dynamic, interactive, spontaneous and professors from

 many countries. Because all of them talk different.

Finally, the English programs could be better if they included watching movies,

 listening music and them writing the lyrics, writing letters and speaking a lot

 but remember, not all the people learn the same way.

Freestyle Motocross

The freestyle motocross began in the 90’s by different riders who wanted to modify the traditional competition of motocross. This discipline consists in making diverse tricks while the motorcycle is on the air when the riders jump. They use many typically gears of the same they use Cohen riding motocross race. These gears are: helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, jersey and MX pants

 

Many riders have a lot of accidents while training and running. One case happened here in Costa Rica; two years ago with a famous rider whose name was Jeremy Lusk. And I say “his name was”, because when he crashed in “Red Bull X-Fighters”, two weeks later he died in a hospital in L.A. These kinds of news or accidents are very sad for the freestyle. 

 

Nowadays, this extreme sport gathers thousands of people to enjoy the exhibition of different tricks in diverse sceneries and countries. I like it very much. It’s very exciting to watch on T.V. and still more on live. Maybe in the future I could practice this extreme sport.

 

Factual Report on Crime in Costa Rica

“blanca y pura descansa la paz” with this phrase ends one stanza of our national anthem. Nowadays, these words maybe sound very ironic. Because every day al Costa Rican people can read on the newspapers, very impressive events happening in the streets of the country.

In all of the countries of the world happened crimes, theft, assaults and abuses. Costa Rica it’s not an exception, but is considered one of the most peaceful countries of Central America, according to a report made for “La Republica” newspaper. People, who live in Costa Rica, can enjoy a good environment of liberty. Fortunately, this is a country that doesn’t have an army.

Costa Rican people need to put their hand in theirs heart and begin to contribute with denouncing all acts for corruption, violation or crime to put the bad people in jail, who want to cause that this country become an easy place to rob.

Advertising in Costa Rica

I’m going to try to explain my ad selection, I think in the video you can see all and you don’t need an explication.   You can see my ad in the web http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Af_Sjsb4LtQ to watch more details. I chose this advertisement because it’s very creative and original. Also because it is made in Costa Rica by “Tribu”, publicity agency.

In the ad, you can see that there is something new on the web. You can upload a photo and make a preview of the color in your space that you will paint. Besides, “Pinturas Protecto” shows more than three thousand colors to select promo. In the web page for this ad you can interact with your twitter account.

Also, in the ad you can observe many different colors, people, spaces and obviously paint. The music is very intense. Another reason why I selected this ad is because is it English and it’s very difficult to find ads in this language for study
